Vasek Pospisil: ‘PTPA is about listening to the players’.
Vasek Pospisil described Novak Djokovic’s position on the Professional Tennis Players Association as ‘critical’ to their cause.
The world number 94 said having a player of Djokovic’s stature on board will have a major impact, as they look to make changes to professional tennis.
The Canadian revealed that the major reason for setting up the PTPA was to answer ‘decades of frustration’ since tennis players lack ‘proper representation’.
He also explained that having a unified player association for both men and women has helped a lot with trying to achieve gender equal pay across all the major tournaments.
