Tommy Haas COMPARED Rafael Nadal’s struggles to his own.
Former tennis world number two, Tommy Haas, has compared his own injury problems to the ongoing struggles of Rafael Nadal, in light of the Spaniard withdrawing from Indian Wells and Miami Open.
Haas believes that Nadal, like himself, ‘does everything in his power to remain healthy’, but stated it becomes trickier to keeping coming back.
Haas is the director of the Indian Wells tournament, which starts on Monday, and said that ‘the facilities are absolutely amazing, and the views are breathtaking’.
The German believes that if Novak Djokovic is able to participate, then he is ‘definitely his favourite’.
Haas also compared the state of tennis at the moment to the NFL, comparing the retirement of Roger Federer to that of Tom Brady, and likewise the rise of Carlos Alcaraz to Patrick Mahomes.
