Bournemouth manager Gary O’Neil says he feels no extra pressure on him to succeed after the takeover of the Premier League club by US businessman Bill Foley’s consortium.
Foley, who was the founder of NHL expansion franchise the Las Vegas Golden Knights, has promised investment in infrastructure and the playing squad as the club looks to re-establish itself in the Premier League after promotion last season.
The Cherries play their first match since the World Cup break on Tuesday night, as they visit Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.
