Dallas Mavericks new boy Kyrie Irving said he’s been greeted by a ‘warm embrace’ since completing his trade from the Brooklyn Nets.
The eight-time NBA All-Star felt ‘really wanted’ by his new team and hit out at critics for downplaying his work ethic.
Irving also revealed his happiness about meeting new team-mates as he knows that they’re going to ‘push me beyond’.
Irving’s head coach, Jason Kidd, wants ‘Kyrie to be Kyrie’ but explained that the Mavs are still Luka Doncic’s team.
