Erik Ten Hag stated Marcus Rashford had the right answer for being dropped in Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Rashford, who scored the winner as United climbed into the top four for the first time this season, was dropped from the starting XI for internal disciplinary reasons.
Ten Hag believes dropping the in-form forward sends a message to the rest of squad that the rules must be followed.
The 52-year-old also opted not to discuss Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Al-Nassr FC when asked but instead wanted focus on the progress of his team.
