Eric Dier REVEALS England captain Harry Kane WILL STILL wear a rainbow armband for Qatar 2022.
England captain Harry Kane will still wear a rainbow armband at the FIFA World Cup, according to team-mate Eric Dier.
FIFA announced their own intiative on the eve of the tournament, but Dier said the Three Lions’ skipper will be wearing the ‘One Love’ armband against Iran on Monday, to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Meanwhile, Dier slammed criticism of manager Gareth Southgate as ‘crazy’, after England reached a final and a semi-final in their last two major tournament appearances.
The 28-year-old also said he’s open to following his grandfather’s footsteps and enterig the world of football politics – Ted Croker was secretary of The Football Association in the 1970s and 80s.
