Kieran Maguire GIVES verdict on Glazers’ Manchester United TENURE.
Football finance expert, Kieran Maguire, has reacted to the Glazers’ decision to sell Manchester United, saying that ‘it has been a very successful investment’.
Maguire isn’t sure who will take over the club, but understands that more Middle Eastern ownership isn’t out of the question.
Maguire commented on why he believes the fans never warmed to their American owners, saying that ‘they had no history in Manchester, their relationship was purely financial.’
Maguire also analysed Cristiano Ronaldo’s demise at United, after it was announced that the club’s merchandise sales in 2022 were their lowest in five years, saying that he was ‘more concerned about his own brand tie-ups rather than working alongside Manchester United products.’
