‘I LIKE to see Lionel Messi UPSET’ – Martin Demichelis.
Former Argentina international Martín Demichelis admitted he is happy to see Lionel Messi ‘upset’ on the football pitch, as it inspires the rest of the team.
Much was made Messi’s actions during Argentina’s quarter-final win over the Netherlands, but Demichelis thinks it’s only natural to see that from someone that ‘does not tolerate losing’.
The current River Plate boss also thinks that even Messi knows this is his last chance to win the World Cup, and backed his former team-mate to dazzle again in the semi-final against Croatia.
