Jurgen Klopp DELIGHTED to see Messi CLAIM World Cup GLORY.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his delight at finally seeing Lionel Messi lift the World Cup with Argentina.
The German said it was a joy to watch him and the triumph acted as a reminder not to write off players prematurely because of their age.
Klopp also showered more praise on Jude Bellingham, who remains linked with a move to Anfield, saying he played at the tournament like a 28 or 29-year-old, but rejected answering a question about the midfielder’s value in the transfer market.
After their Carabao Cup defeat against Manchester City, Liverpool resume their Premier League campaign against Aston Villa on 26th December.
