Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks FLYING HIGH!
Luka Doncic said the Dallas Mavericks are feeling great, but must focus on continuing to win, after they recorded a 126-125 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
The road win saw the Mavericks extend their winning streak to six games, as Doncic dropped a 51-point triple-double.
Doncic said, although they have injuries, he doesn’t necessarily feel the need to score monster numbers to make up for what they’re missing, but rather it depends on how he’s covered by the opposition on the night.
He added that the Mavericks have grown as a collective and as individuals since Covid, and that now the new players are beginning to connect with the rest of the group.
