PSG head coach Christophe Galtier says Lionel Messi will return to the club on January 3.
The Argentine has been given time off after guiding Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar.
Galtier believes the 35-year-old will be given a warm reception by PSG fans, despite beating France in Doha’s World Cup final.
PSG suffered their first loss of the season in a 3-1 defeat at Lens, and Galtier insists it was never a goal for the team to go through the campaign undefeated.
