Dwane Casey LABELLED Detroit Pistons’ Saddiq Bey as ‘just as IMPORTANT as anybody’.
Detroit Pistons head coach, Dwane Casey, has described Saddiq Bey as ‘just as important as anybody on our team’, following his sensational buzzer-beater to secure a last-gasp victory against the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors thought they were heading into overtime when Klay Thompson levelled the scoring with one second remaining on the clock, but Bey’s dagger dragged the Pistons to the win.
The 23-year-old was hailed by his coach, who said ‘he’s handling it like a pro, hopefully this gives him a boost and confidence, shooting wise.’
Casey also stated that their ‘biggest enemy this season is consistency’, as despite this euphoric win, they still remain 10-30.
