Steve Kerr and Klay Thompson ADMIT their buzzer beater LOSS to Detroit Pistons was TOUGH TO TAKE.
Golden State Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, has admitted their last-gasp loss to the Detroit Pistons was ‘tough’ to take, but professed how ‘proud’ he was of his team.
The Warriors thought they were heading into overtime when Klay Thompson levelled the scoring with one second remaining on the clock, but Saddiq Bey’s dagger dragged the Pistons to the win.
Kerr congratulated Dwane Casey’s team for putting on a ‘fantastic’ display, saying they ‘deserved to win.’
Thompson also acknowledged the disappointment of their defeat, stating that ‘it never feels good, we gave ourselves a chance to win it.’
The 32-year-old however made positive light of the situation, explaining how he ‘feels incredible’ at the moment and that he ‘couldn’t be prouder’ of the team.
