European Super League PROPOSE 80 Teams in competition
Bernd Reichart, chief executive of sports development company A22, warned that European football is under threat, as he proposed a new Super League.
Revised plans for a European Super League would see up to 80 teams involved but no permanent members.
After a disastrous launch of the Super League project in 2021, new plans have been set to re-challenge the UEFA Champions League.
Reichart says that change is needed after clubs are unable to make sporting and financial decisions for themselves within the current system.
