Lauren Hemp was full of praise for fellow forward Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, who was magnificent in City’s 2-1 win against Arsenal in the WSL.
Hemp opened the scoring inside the first five minutes of the match, after the ball was put on a plate for her inside the box.
The win over title challengers Arsenal moves Manchester City up to 3rd in the Women’s Super League, only 2 points off the top of the table.
Manager Gareth Taylor said he was very happy with the performance and the result.
