Mikel Arteta criticised fans who threw bottles at Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne during the Gunners’ 3-1 defeat to the Citizens on Wednesday.
Projectiles were launched from the crowd as the Belgian was subbed off, with the FA launching an investigation into the incident.
Arteta confirmed the club are also investigating what happened, and said that they will not tolerate such actions from those involved.
Having lost top spot with that defeat to Man City, Arsenal will be looking to restart their title charge against Aston Villa on Saturday.
