Roberto De Zerbi baffled that Lewis Dunk has never played for a ‘big team’.
Brighton and Hove Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi said it’s difficult to understand how Lewis Dunk has never played for a ‘big team’.
The Italian manager believes his centre-back, who is set to make his 400th appearance for the Seagulls on Tuesday in the FA Cup, is ‘one of the best defenders in the Premier League’.
The 43-year-old stated that his side’s FA Cup tie against Stoke City is ‘crucial’ in their quest for silverware, saying he expects a ‘difficult game’.
De Zerbi also revealed that Pervis Estupinan and Solly March will be ruled out for the Stoke clash due to injury.
