‘Crazy’ Lionel Messi THREATS will STOP his Newell’s Old Boys RETURN – Gabriel Heinze.
The head coach of Lionel Messi’s boyhood club, Newell’s Old Boys, said the ‘crazy’ threats made to the Argentine has ‘distanced’ him from a potential return.
Gunmen in Messi’s hometown of Rosario shot at a supermarket owned by his in-laws and held up a piece of cardboard with the words ‘Messi, we’re waiting for you’, written on.
Gabriel Heinze said the incident makes him wonder if it’s worth achieving things in life if this is the result.
