Jurgen Klopp’s REACTION: Liverpool must REGROUP after Champions League EXIT.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said he wasn’t angry, just disappointed, after his side fell to a 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu which saw them knocked out of the Champions League on Wednesday.
Karim Benzema scored the only goal of the game in the 78th minute as the Reds failed a near impossible challenge after a three goal deficit in the opening leg, losing 6-2 on aggregate.
The German confessed that the better side won, and that the fixture marked the importance of why Liverpool must ensure they are in the competition again next year.
