EXCLUSIVE: Luke Fortner BELIEVES Will Levis can be SUCCESSFUL in the NFL.
Jacksonville Jaguars centre Luke Fortner believes former college team-mate Will Levis can be a success in the NFL, despite being snubbed in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Levis had been tipped to go as high as the number two pick, but slipped all the way to 33 overall before being selected by the Tennessee Titans.
Fortner, who lined up alongside Levis at Kentucky in 2021, described the quarterback as a ‘day one leader’ and is confident Levis will have a great career in the league.
The Jaguars centre also spoke about fellow 2023 draftees Bryce Young, CJ Stroud and Will Anderson, as well as looking back on his own rookie season in the NFL last year.
Fortner is in London with the Jaguars to announce the team’s fourth round pick from Fulham’s Craven Cottage, and shared his excitement at seeing Erling Haaland live on Sunday, comparing the City forward to an American footballer.
