Rory McIlroy REACTS to a STREES-FREE Saturday after ENDING the day one SHOT OFF the lead
Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy says it’s been “such a long time” since he last won a major that he doesn’t necessarily feel a “boost” over U.S Open leaders Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark.
The four-time major winner is one shot off the lead heading into the final day, and leads the field in greens in regulation.
McIlroy finished round three one-under-par to wrap up his Saturday, admitting it was “trickier than the first couple of days”.
The 34-year-old pat himself on the back for playing “smart, solid golf”, saying he felt “stress-free” out at the Los Angeles Country Club.
